Biography

Sergiu Fărcășanu (b. 1973) is a contemporary Romanian graphic artist and award-winning caricaturist. His deep connection with satire and line work began at the early age of five, which later led him to study Architecture and Urban Planning. Although he focused on his business career for a duration, he rediscovered his raw passion for visual humor during the pandemic. Today, he is widely celebrated for creating conceptual, multi-layered cartoons designed to trigger deep thought rather than just a quick laugh. He regularly wins prestigious national and international caricature prizes and conducts drawing workshops to inspire the younger generation.
