The concept of "The kitchen as a political space" offers a profound socio-cultural lens for graphic humor, transforming a domestic environment into an arena for power dynamics, gender roles, and economic policies. Through historical and contemporary caricature, the kitchen serves as the front line where global crises—such as food inflation, resource distribution, and geopolitical boycotts—manifest in everyday human survival. This rich artistic theme challenges editorial cartoonists to decode how local household spaces inherently mirror broader governmental legislation, societal control, and ideological shifts.
