Winners of the 11th Cartoonale DE GEUS Lebbeke 2026 in Belgium

 

The official results of the 11th edition of the "De Geus" International Cartoon Contest in Lebbeke, Belgium, for the year 2026 have been announced.

Host country Belgium achieved an impressive sweep, winning 2 out of the 6 total awards (including main prizes and honorable mentions). The other three awards went to cartoonists from Romania, Iran, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine

THEME: ACTIVE SENIORS

For this 11th edition, the library and the cultural department of the Municipality of Lebbeke joined forces with 'De Geus Curieus Lebbeke' to ensure the 'Cartoonale' was a success once again—and a success it certainly was! With 307 participants from 53 different countries, it was a fantastic edition. The jury’s task was to select the winners from a total of 706 cartoons.
